Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort

Sofiyah and I had our solat jamaq Zohor and Asar in our room before we checked out.  We then waited for dear hubby at the hotel's lobby.

When hubby finally arrived we continued our journey to Lumut via the old road. Our destination was Pulau Pangkor.

Alhamdullillah we reached Lumut jetty sharp at 6pm.  Whilst hubby went to park our SUV at the Public  Multilevel Carpark, I bought three tickets for our ferry ride to Pulau Pangkor.

The ferry left the jetty at 6.20pm.  It was a smooth ride to Pulau Pangkor. But then when the ferry halted at its first jetty on the island, we thought we should disembarked.  So we went to get our luggage at the front.  We were confused and amused too when the boatman said we have to disembark at the next jetty.  Hahaha.......how should we know lah. First time come here lor.....

When we finally disembarked and walked out of the jetty towards the taxi stand, we noticed the taxis (mini vans) here were coloured Pink.

Hubby decided to rent a car instead. So we got a Proton Wira. Daily rental RM60.

We then drove to Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort, Jalan Pasir Bogak where we rented two rooms.  Although we could not get rooms with a connecting door, we were glad that Sofiyah's room was next door to ours.  In fact our rooms were the only rooms on the upper level from the lobby's entrance on the right.

After we had our bath and solat, Sofiyah and I had our dinner of ikan bakar at a Seafood restaurant within walking distance from the resort.  Hubby did not join us since he was too exhausted so we tapau kampung fried rice and ikan bakar for him.

On our way back to the resort we visited a souvenir shop which was still open and bought a few key chains and fridge magnets.
