After breakfast at the hotel, we all got ready for our journey to Kota Tinggi. We left the hotel at 11.30am and with Badruzzaman driving his car with the bride and groom, we followed them. There were seven cars all together.
Since traffic was smooth, we reached Taman Sri Saujana at 11.55am. So we waited at the Petronas petrol station for the signal to proceed to the community hall.
Then when our nephew, Idzqandar Abu Bakar, joined us at the petrol station, I approached him and enquired whether the bride and groom could ride in his brand new Mercedes. Idzqandar was very obliging. He agreed with open arms. Then he drove the happy couple to the community hall with us following the bridal car.
When we reached the hall we were welcomed by the groom's family. It was a joyous occasion for us all.
