After tree cutting day yeterday....hubby, Wahid, Sofiyah and I drove to Melaka for ECO Family Day event. Along LEKAS highway we overtook our lorry just before the Setul toll plaza.
Then when we reached Ampangan toll plaza...hubby received a call from Rizal our farmhand that our lorry had broke down. So hubby then called the tow truck service to tow our lorry back to our farm.
We finally reached Melaka around 6pm and checked into Hatten Hotel. Wow....the rooms we stayed have two flat screen tvs.
After freshing up and solat asar we drove to Umbai for the Family day dinner. The Parameswara Ikan Bakar restaurant is at Pengkalan Pernu. The restaurant was full of diners when we arrived. But we were ushered to the other end of the restaurant where the event was held.
The seafood dishes were delicious. In shaa Allah we will bring the rest of our family for makan here one day.
There were lucky draws held after dinner. Hubby was given the honour to present prices to the winners. Every staff of ECO who attended the dinner received prices. Hubby won a 3 in 1 travelling lugguage. Alhamdullilah.
There was a karoake session to end the event....and some of the staff sang, they were very sporting too.
