Rice Pilaf



125 ml ghee
10 shallots, peeled and sliced
3 cloves garlic, peeled ande sliced
2 pandan leaves, shredded and knotted
2cm cinnamon stick
2 star annise
4 cardamon pods
6 vloves
10 almonds
125 ml chicken stock
4 tbsps evaporated milk
125g basmati rice, washed
4 tbsps rose water


Heat ghee in saucepan and stir fry shallots, garlic, pandan leaves, cinnamon, star anise, cardamon, cloves and almonds until fragrant

Pour in chicken stock and evaporated milk.  Add rice and rose water, boil until rice is cooked.
