MAHA 26 Nov - 5 Dec 2010

(with Norehan Nor)

(with Sofiyah)

I went to the MAHA 2010 on Thursday 2 December with Siti Sofiyah. We then drove to @Norehan Nor 's house and then convoyed to the MAHA venue @ Mardi Serdang. We parked our vehicles just outside Gate 2. We would rather walk than queued to get to the parking lot within MAHA. We then took the tram and drop off at the Pineapple pavillion. There was this huge pineapple on display.

Then we took the tram again to go to the 13 states pavilions. Our first visit was Negeri Sembilan. Followed by Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor. Sabah, Sarawak, Perlis, Selangor, Perak, Pahang, Penang, Melaka and Kedah.

(wat bunge telur gune ni cun gak)

We had lunch at the Sarawak pavilion. We ate laksa sarawak. It was delicious. I bought a few packets of the laksa sarawak paste. Then can cook for the whole family. Hubby loves to eat laksa sarawak. Then at the Terengganu pavilion, I bought 40 pcs sata (yummmmmy...) to take home. Another family favourite. At the Negeri Sembilan pavilion I bought this (see above photo). This could be use as a door gift for wedding souvenir. Hmmmm... perhaps..

This seahorse was at one of the pavilion... cant remember which one....

These photos were shot at the Kedah pavilion.... These are traditional tools for use on the padi fields. These days all are mechanised.

Our final stop was at the Perikanan (Fisheries) exhibition. Here, I bought for Sofiyah a pair of tiny turtles... On the way to our car, we drank root beer, ate ice cream, drank guava juice, ate fresh papayas and honey dews... drank more juice and a KFC hot dog.... By the time we reached our car... it started to drizzle.... OTW home it rained....

Conclusion: To fully utilised a MAHA visit may take 3 days.... I only visited 2 areas....
